#FR2梅 × isayamax / 2024.1.20sat , 21sun コラボ商品リリース&作品展を開催しました。

The collaboration product between #FR2 Ume and Isayamax has been released, and we also held an exhibition of the artworks.

高校の同級生と20年以上ぶりに再会して、そんなきっかけから生まれて繋いでいただいたご縁、#FR2さん。

とんとんとーんと話も進み、三ヶ月後には#FR2梅でコラボイベントが出来ることに!

今回のための描き下ろし作品をアパレルに落とし込んでくださり、こんなかわいいラインナップが出来上がりました!

I reunited with a high school classmate after more than 20 years, and this encounter led to a connection with #FR2. Things progressed smoothly, and three months later, we were able to organize a collaboration event at #FR2 Ume! I created original artwork specifically for this event, which was then featured in the apparel collection, resulting in an incredibly cute lineup!

リリースに併せて1月20日(土)、21日(日)の2日間、原宿 #FR2梅 向かいの #FR2Gallery にてこちらも描き下ろしの原画作品の展示も行いました。

To coincide with the product release, we held an exhibition of my original artworks on January 20th (Saturday) and 21st (Sunday) at #FR2Gallery, located across from #FR2 Ume in Harajuku.

たった2日間のイベントでも、ここまで装飾してくださる徹底したブランド力に感服です。I was deeply impressed by the brand’s commitment to thoroughly decorating the space, even for a two-day event.

90年代の裏原シーンのまさに中心地、あのNIGOさんと高橋盾さんのお店「NOWHERE」があった通りを挟む形で、裏原ブランド「HECTIC」があった場所に現在お店を構える「#FR2梅」とその向かいの「#FR2Gallery」。90年代青春を過ごした者としては胸熱すぎます。2階にはこれまた90年代原宿デコラの中心「6%DOKIDOKI」。

Located right in the heart of the 90s Ura-Harajuku scene, “#FR2 Ume” now occupies the spot where the Ura-Hara brand “HECTIC” once stood, across the street from where the iconic “NOWHERE” shop by NIGO and Jun Takahashi was located. The “#FR2Gallery” is right across from it. For someone who spent their youth in the 90s, it’s incredibly exciting. On the second floor, you’ll also find “6%DOKIDOKI,” another central figure of the 90s “Harajuku Decora” culture.

店舗のいろいろなディスプレイもかわいくしてくださり、感動です。

I’m impressed by the cute and varied displays in the store. It’s truly moving.


原画作品は全て1点物の先着販売で、コラボ作品はオープン3時間で完売し、アパレルも2日間でほぼ無くなる盛況ぶりでした。改めてブランド「#FR2」の凄さを実感しました。

All the original artworks were sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and they sold out within 3 hours of opening. The apparel also sold nearly all out over the course of the 2 days, showing how popular the event was. I once again realized the incredible power of the “#FR2” brand.

最後に今回何が印象深かったかというと、社員さんやスタッフさんがもちろんオシャレでイケてて、そして明るく前向きで社長の石川さんをリスペクトしてて、ずーっとプラスの空気の中に居れたのがめちゃくちゃ居心地良かったです!ご来場の皆様、そして関係者の皆様、2日間の濃厚で貴重な体験をありがとうございました!

Finally, what left a lasting impression on me this time was how stylish and cool all the employees and staff were, as well as their bright and positive attitude. They all clearly respected President Ishikawa, and being surrounded by such a positive atmosphere throughout was incredibly comfortable and pleasant! To everyone who visited and to all involved, thank you for such a rich and valuable experience over these two days!

余談ですが、ブルーノ・マーズが期間中日本公演に来てて、どこかで原宿にも寄ったみたいでニアミスでした。会期の次の日にリールに上がってビックリしました。

On a side note, Bruno Mars was in Japan for his tour during the same period, and it seems he also visited Harajuku at some point, just missing each other. I was surprised to see a video on Bruno’s Instagram Reels the day after my exhibition ended.
